Eric Prydz was without a doubt one of the biggest highlight’s last weekend at EDC NY. This living legend flawlessly and meticulously mixed track after track, ranging from his more popular anthems like “Everyday” to some of his darker techno releases through his other moniker Cirez D. Busy with touring and studio work, Eric finally returned to his EPIC Radio broadcasts and presented his eighth installment (listen above).
Continuing on this Cirez D bender, Eric plunges headfirst into his dark side and delivers an hour and half of sinister techno. As he states in the podcast, many fans and writers were worried that his move to the States was going to rub off on him and throw him down the mainstream rabbit hole that fills America these days, but if anything it’s work like this that holds testament to the dedication to his style of music. In other words, Cirez D continues to deliver his signature gritty techno. While an Eric Prydz set is without a doubt never to be missed if you can make it, seeing Cirez D cast spells through speakers is a whole other world.
